Leadership

Gwen is currently the President of the Illinois Swimming Officials Association. She has been a member of the IHSA since 2008 and is a Certified level official. Gwen was awarded ISOA's Most Improved Official in 2020 and the IHSA Official of the Year for Girls Swimming & Diving in 2021.

Steve is a 10-year IHSA veteran and the 2024 ISOA Most Improved Official. He has served as Diving Referee for Sectional meets and volunteered for Special Olympics Region C and State finals. He also works Park District club meets and remains active in the Illinois swimming community.

Susan is the current Secretary of the ISOA and has been an IHSA Swimming & Diving official since 2018. She earned Rookie of the Year in 2019 and achieved Certified official status while working Sectional and State Championship meets. Susan has also supported the Illinois Special Olympics meet in recent years.

Steve has shown ongoing commitment during nearly twenty years as a high school swimming and diving official. He has taken on every officiating responsibility, including Meet Referee at Sectional competitions. Steve is a well-known volunteer official at state championship meets and has served in many voluntary roles.
